Mirror’s Edge
My housemate just bought Mirror’s Edge for the Xbox, and I know it’s late but it is freaking amazing! I love the first-person parkour gameplay, although it’s pretty frustating learning how to master the controls. And a bonus is that it looks great in 1080P on the 40″ TV :) Slick, high-radiosity rendering with a touch of orange, red, green and blue. Love the visuals. See for yourself after the jump!

Well. Go f$#k’em.
I’ve spent the better part of the day browsing the Internet for references, visual stylesamples and other tidbits for my magazine project. When going through SPD.org (a brilliant resource for anything editorial design and magazines, by the way.), I came across this interview with designer George Lois at BlackBook Magazine.
